For those who want to add a touch of magic and excitement to their holiday, the great theme parks of the Riviera are just a short drive from Gabicce. The closest is Oltremare in Riccione, a nature and technology park that combines science, nature and entertainment with its famous dolphinarium and augmented reality experiences.

A few kilometres further lies Mirabilandia, one of Italy’s largest amusement parks, with over 40 attractions, record-breaking roller coasters and areas dedicated to younger visitors. A full day isn’t enough to see it all, but the excitement lasts the entire holiday.

For families with young children, Aquafan in Riccione is the Riviera’s most famous water park, with slides, pools and relaxation areas for parents. Open from June to September, it’s the perfect destination for a day of pure fun away from the beach.

Acquario di Cattolica

The Cattolica Aquarium “Le Navi” is the largest aquarium on the Adriatic and one of the most important in Italy. It is home to over 7,000 animals from 400 different species: sharks, rays, sea turtles, Magellanic penguins, tropical fish and molluscs. Visitors can walk through the underwater tunnel immersed in the blue, watch shark feeding sessions and discover the most hidden corners of the marine world. A must-see for families, children and nature lovers.

Oltremare

A few kilometres from Gabicce Mare, Oltremare in Riccione is one of Italy’s most popular nature parks. Set in a lush and evocative environment, it is home to dolphins, parrots, exotic reptiles and many other animal species. The dolphin shows, tropical bird displays and interactive areas make a visit an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Fiabilandia

Fiabilandia, located in Rivazzurra di Rimini, is the fairytale park par excellence, designed to enchant the youngest children. Among enchanted castles, gentle rides and characters from classic fairy tales, the little ones live a magical adventure in a safe and colourful environment. Founded in 1960, it is one of Italy’s oldest theme parks and still retains that timeless charm capable of moving generations of families who return to visit year after year.
